If a doctor notifies you that your employee suffers from a reportable work-related disease then you must send a completed disease report form (NI2508A) to the enforcing authority (download the Reporting Accidents Leaflet for more information). You can ring the Employment Medical Advisory Service (EMAS - Telephone Number: 028 9040 8004) of the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) to check whether a disease is reportable.
