    On 29th October 2009, John Graham (Dromore) Ltd was fined a total of £65,000 after pleading guilty at Belfast Crown Court to two breaches of health and safety legislation. The case against the company was brought by the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI).

    On Friday 20th November 2009 at Dungannon Crown Court, Northstone (NI) Ltd was fined a total of £60,000 for three breaches of health and safety legislation. One of their sub-contractors, Gerard Hayden, was also fined. The case against the principal contractor and the sub-contractor was brought by the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland.
