Public Health Agency: Situation in Northern Ireland (COVID-19)

Everyone in Northern Ireland must do what they can to stop coronavirus spreading.

  • Only go outside for food, health reasons or work (but only if you cannot work from home), or one form of exercise a day (a run, walk or cycle, alone or with members of your household)
  • If you go out, stay 2 metres (6ft) away from other people at all times
  • Wash your hands as soon as you get home
  • Do not meet others, even friends or family.
  • You can spread the virus even if you don’t have symptoms.

The Public Health Agency (PHA) is keeping abreast of the changing situation around (COVID-19) Coronavirus and is continuing to work with partners across the UK, as well as the Health Service in the Republic of Ireland and our local Health and Care System.
