Health and safety is a vital part of every workplace in Northern Ireland and health and safety representatives work to make workplaces safer.
The Northern Ireland Health and Safety Representative of the Year award has been established to recognise the contribution health and safety representatives make to protect workplace safety and improve health and safety standards in workplaces throughout Northern Ireland.
The award is presented by The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) and the Northern Ireland Committee of the Irish Congress of Trade Unions (NIC ICTU).
