Date published:
The Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) will be attending the Northern Ireland Manufacturing & Supply Chain Conference & Exhibition 2026 taking place this Thursday, 10 September, at the Eikon Exhibition Centre, Lisburn.
This one-day showcase promises a dynamic agenda of innovation, inspiration, and practical insights. Whether you're exploring the latest Industry 4.0 technologies, connecting with key decision-makers, or staying ahead of trends in sustainability, automation, and smart manufacturing, the event offers valuable opportunities to learn and engage.
Inspectors from HSENI’s Product Safety and Chemicals Market Compliance Teams will be at stand B12 for the one-day conference at the Eikon Centre, to meet and provide advice and guidance on market compliance regulations relating to chemicals and product safety, but we are particularly keen to speak with stakeholders in relation to the upcoming Machinery Regulation, launching on 20 January 2027.
Principal Professional and Technical Officer Grainne Mulgrew said:
"HSENI Product Safety wish to raise awareness and understanding of the upcoming Machinery Regulation, due to be enforced from 20 January 2027. It is vital that duty holders prepare for the transition from the Machinery Directive to the Regulation to ensure seamless and ongoing compliance and we welcome discussion at the Manufacturing and Supply Chain Exhibition."
