A product recall has been issued for Elight & Yag 2 in one Intense Pulse Light (IPL) Laser Tattoo Removal and Hair Removal Machines.

Product Description - A white coloured intense pulse light laser machine used to remove tattoos and hair.

Issue

There are no registration or other manufacturer’s marks on the product or any of the packaging. The CE mark appears is applied by sticker with no associated manufacturer or importers details. The product does not have a declaration of conformity.

There is no evidence that this product has been subject to an appropriate conformity assessment to demonstrate that it is compliant with the requirements for equipment of this type to be placed on the GB market.

The product does not meet the requirements of the Electrical Equipment (Safety) Regulations 2016.
