Confined Spaces ACOP NI Consultative DocumentThis consultative document sets out proposals from HSENI to approve for use in Northern Ireland an updated Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) on “Safe work in confined spaces: Confined Spaces Regulations 1997 (L101)”, drafted by the Health and Safety Executive in Great Britain (HSE). In these circumstances the current HSENI ACOP approval will be withdrawn.
This Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) and guidance is for those involved in work within confined spaces, those who employ or train such people and those that represent them.

The closing date for receipt of comments is no later than noon on 31 August 2016.
