HSE Safety Alert - Industrial Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems

HSE (GB) has recently issued a safety notice relating to dangerous occurrences that resulted from a failure of industrial UPS systems.

Failure of these industrial UPS systems typically resulted in a loss of power to industrial control systems, emergency shutdown systems and emergency mitigation systems.

Designers, manufacturers, importers, suppliers, end users and maintenance contractors should review the content of the safety notice in particular the action required by each group to ensure that you are meeting your legal requirements.
