The third Farm Safety Action Plan was launched in September 2017 and covers the period April 2017 to March 2020.This action plan highlights the four main causes of fatal accidents - Slurry, Animals, Falls and Equipment (SAFE) and promotes the need for farmers and their families to stay vigilant and take those next steps towards safer farms and work practices.
