Multilateral Agreement M351: Exemption from appointing a safety adviser for consignors

The United Kingdom has countersigned Multilateral Agreement M351 on 10th January 2023, under sub-section 1.8.3.2 of ADR.

This Multilateral Agreement provides that the exemption within ADR 1.8.3.2 (b) shall also apply to undertakings the main or secondary activities of which are not the consignment of dangerous goods but which occasionally engage in the national consignment of dangerous goods posing little danger or risk of pollution.

The multilateral agreement will expire on 31st December 2024.
