Manufacturers, suppliers and industry professionals are being urged not to miss their chance to get expert advice on workplace safety and regulatory compliance at this year’s Manufacturing and Supply Chain Expo.

Inspectors from the Health and Safety Executive for Northern Ireland (HSENI) will be at stand F16 for the one-day conference at the Eikon Centre, on Thursday 11 September, to meet and provide advice and guidance on market compliance regulations relating to chemicals and product safety.
Principal Professional and Technical Officer Grainne Mulgrew said: “HSENI’s Chemicals and Product Safety Market Compliance Teams are keen to work with industry to develop relationships and provide advice and guidance to ensure businesses understand what is required to be compliant with the Chemical and Product Safety regulations.
“This is a great opportunity for anyone involved in the import, manufacture, supply or use of chemicals and equipment to ask questions and get advice on topics such as regulatory divergence, compliance with the Essential Health and Safety Requirements and changes to classification of chemicals etc.
“The teams will also be promoting HSENI’s 2025-26 Workplace Health Campaign highlighting why information relating to the safe use of chemicals and the compliant manufacture and supply of equipment is vital to protect the workforce,” she added.
