This consultative document sets out proposals from HSENI to approve for use in Northern Ireland an updated Approved Code of Practice (ACOP) on “L122 Safety of Pressure Systems”, drafted by the Health and Safety Executive in Great Britain (HSE). In these circumstances the current ACOP approval will be withdrawn.
The revised ACOP and guidance is aimed at dutyholders under the Pressure Systems Safety Regulations (Northern Ireland) 2004 (PSSR) who are involved with pressure systems used at work. It is for users, owners, competent persons, designers, manufacturers, importers, suppliers and installers of pressure systems used at work.

The closing date for receipt of comments is no later than noon on 31 August 2016.
