Compliance with ADR and carriage of dangerous goods (CDG10) regulations (as amended)

Date published: 22 October 2013

Topics: Carriage of dangerous goods,  Workplace Transport

The CDG10 Regulations (as amended) implement ADR (with a number of exceptions). The main duties are now covered by a single regulation, Regulation 5. The PSNI and HSENI are now actively engaged in road stops targeting vehicles carrying dangerous goods. Non compliance with the detailed requirements in the legislation has resulted in prohibition and could also lead to prosecution.
